After retaining three offensive coaches from the Matt Rhule era Wednesday, Temple head coach Geoff Collins continued to fill out his staff Thursday, hiring David Feeley as the Owls' head strength and conditioning coach.

Feeley comes over from South Carolina, where he was the assistant strength and conditioning coach for one season. The Gamecocks were 6-6 and reached the Birmingham Bowl.

Entering his 12th season working in college football, Feeley has ties with Collins. The two worked together in 2010 at Florida International University. Collins was the defensive coordinator, while Feeley was the assistant strength and conditioning coach, from 2008 through 2010.

Growing up in Brick, New Jersey, Feeley played his college ball at Plymouth State University, spending his senior season as its team captain.

Feeley joins Ed Foley, Frisman Jackson and Chris Wiesehan on Collins' staff.
