James Madison beats Delaware to secure 20-win season

HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Ron Curry scored 17 points, Joey McLean added 14 and James Madison secured 20 wins for the first time in three seasons after defeating Delaware 75-50 on Saturday.

Curry scored more points at the foul line than from the field -- making 9 of 10 free throws while shooting 3 for 6 from the floor with two 3-pointers. James Madison scored 28 points at the line on as many Delaware fouls. Paulius Satkus and Shakir Brown each added 10 points for the Dukes (20-9, 10-6 Colonial Athletic Association).

Anthony Mosley and Cazmon Hayes scored 11 points apiece to lead Delaware (7-20, 2-14). The Blue Hens, coming off their first wire-to-wire victory this season, shot 39 percent (18-46) and 29 percent from 3-point range (4-14).

James Madison is on a program-record pace of holding opponents to 39.4-percent shooting, and 29.3 percent on 3-pointers.

The Dukes had 10 steals, four blocked shots, and forced 18 turnovers.
