Cole Hamels and Jamie Moyer have Twitter accounts for their foundations, which is nice and for good causes, but no regular Phillies player is active on Twitter in a personal way. One high level prospect who has bucked this trend is pitcher Jarred Cosart who has been invited to spring training down in Clearwater. Cosart often holds "open chats" with Phillies fans and will answer almost any question asked of him. It's pretty cool. But what kind of topics does Cosart touch on when he's not responding to fans? The answer is pretty much what you would think a typical 20-year-old likes to talk about. His girlfriend.
In tweets that are not responses directed @ other people thus far in 2011, Phillies prospect Jarred Cosart mentions his girlfriend Amber Leigh Hartman (@theBlondSide) in 44% of his tweets. We arrived at this number entirely unscientifically. I just counted.
