Sam Bradford a FedEx Air Player of Week nominee

Sam Bradford is one of three nominees for the FedEx Air Player of the Week, awarded each week for the top quarterback performance in the NFL.

Bradford overcame two early interceptions to complete 32 of 45 passes (71 percent) for 333 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ 39-17 win over the New Orleans Saints.

It was the third-most passing yards of his career and the seventh-highest completion percentage of his career.

The other nominees are Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who faces the Eagles on Sunday, and Browns QB Josh McCown.

Manning passed for 441 yards and three touchdowns for a 110.2 passer rating in the Giants’ 30-27 win against the 49ers Sunday.

McCown was 36 for 51 (70.6 percent) for 457 yards and two touchdowns for a 111.3 passer rating in the Browns’ 33-30 overtime win over the Ravens.

Bradford's passer rating against the Saints was 88.5.

Fans can vote for FedEx Ground and Air Player of the Week at NFL.com/FedEx through 3 p.m. Thursday.

A $2,000 donation is made in the winners’ names to the local area chapters of the American Red Cross to assist with disaster relief.

Nominees for the FedEx Ground Award are running backs Thomas Rawls of the Seahawks (23 carries for 169 yards, TD), Devonta Freeman of the Falcons (153 yards on 27 carries, TD) and Doug Martin of the Bucs (24 carries for 123 yards, two TDs).
