Stephen Curry doesn't want any beef with the Eagles

While warming up for Super Bowl LII, Malcolm Jenkins caught a glimpse of NBA superstar Stephen Curry on the sidelines, and he did not like what he saw. A red sweatshirt.

"I knew I ain't like Steph Curry," Jenkins, who was mic'd up by NFL Films, can be heard saying around the 40-second mark. "That's your boy, Steph Curry. Frontrunner."

Jenkins was literally seeing red as he thought Curry, a North Carolina native and loyal Panthers fan, was backing the New England Patriots on Super Sunday.

As it turns out, that wasn't the case. Curry was actually wearing the sweatshirt of a private Minneapolis school, Minnehaha Academy. It's been reported that one of his friends is married to a Minnehaha Academy alum.

Curry sent out a tweet Thursday to make sure there was no bad blood between him and Jenkins.

Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith, following the mini-drama, was relieved to hear that Curry isn't a frontrunner after all. Just a star basketball player who made an eye-catching wardrobe choice.

And as it turns out, Curry was actually at the game with a Patriots fan but made it known ahead of time he was rooting for the Eagles. Click on Smith's "Receipts" tweet below to see the proof.
