On Tuesday we brought you the wild tale of Center City softball legend Dick Mahoney and how he looked oddly familiar to former Eagle Walter Thurmond.
Thurmond actually spoke about the legend on Comcast SportsNet's Wednesday edition of Philly Sports Talk (see story).
It was a story so fantastic it took the Internet by storm and forced both Mahoney and Thurmond to release statements on Twitter.
