Jordan Matthews gets special start to offseason with engagement to Cheyna Williams

Belated congratulations to Cheyna Williams and Jordan Matthews!

Word got out last week, but Matthews tweeted a photo today about his engagement to Williams, a fellow Vanderbilt Commodore and professional soccer player for the Washington Spirit.

Here’s a look at the happy couple.

Here’s one with the ring. Nice job, Jordan.

While Matthews posted today, Williams posted this with the date 1-27-17 on it, showing a billboard of the two from their days at Vandy.

To our knowledge, Matthews is at least the third Philly athlete to get engaged recently, joining Flyers captain Claude Giroux and alternate captain Wayne Simmonds, whom each got engaged in December and January, respectively.

Best wishes to all the couples.

Torrey Smith's son T.J. the standout star from Day 1 of Eagles training camp

Torrey Smith's son T.J. the standout star from Day 1 of Eagles training camp

There's typically an unexpected standout star in the first few days of training camp every summer, but most times that person is over three-feet tall.

The Eagles kicked off their training camp activities at the NovaCare Complex in South Philadelphia on Monday morning and most of the rookies were there to go through drills.

But it was little T.J. Smith, son of veteran free agent wide receiver Torrey Smith, who stole the show. The two were seen on the field throwing the pigskin around with camera crews filming for a segment for TheUndefeated website.

You see that arm? Nick Foles better not look over his shoulder.

CSNPhilly camera crews also caught up with Smith and his son, the smaller of which is already well versed in doing Eagles chants. Great parenting if I must say.

You can watch that footage in the above video.

'Trust the Process' chants breakout at WWE Battleground in Philly

What does former Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie's now legendary Process have to do with the WWE? Unclear. But that didn't stop fans at the wrestling match at the Wells Fargo Center on Sunday night from breaking into rather loud "Trust the Process!" chants.

You can hear the chants loud in clear in the short video clip below.

As for the rest of the night? The guy we interviewed on The700Level Show last week, A.J. Styles, lost his belt. Which probably means no wrestler should ever talk to us again.
