There's still no set time table for his return, but you're starting to see more and more of Ben Simmons around the Sixers.
The No. 1 overall pick made his first appearance on the team's bench last night for after getting his boot removed. He was sporting some stylish Jordan 1s.
“I think it’s pretty cool having him out there with his teammates,” Brown said. “That will continue on.”
And after practice today, CSNPhilly.com cameras caught footage of a boot-less Simmons doing some dribbling moves on the court in Camden.
You can watch about 60 seconds of that footage in the above video.
Fans aren't quite treating Simmons' injury as gently as they did with Joel Embiid's injury, but it's still nice to get a glimpse of him doing some basketball related things for the first time in a while.
Pretty soon Ben will be dropping those dimes to JoJo that he promised. Not soon enough.
