Watch: DeMarcus Cousins literally mops Wells Fargo Center floor during bizarre pregame delay

In a bizarre scene at the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night, the scheduled 7:05 pm game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings was delayed "due to an issue regarding the surface of the court."

That was the official statement from the team.

After about 35 minutes of a delay, the conjecture around 7:35 pm was that the game will be postponed.

Building PA announcer Matt Cord announced at around 7:45 pm that the game has still not officially been canceled and that they will update in 15 minutes.

The final announcement of the games cancelation came at 8:04 pm.

There was what described as a "filmy substance" on the court. Reports on its origin vary.

CEO Scott O'Neil said the building told him it was not related to the refrigeration system.

Others described it as "some sort of sheen."

What was inarguable, however, was just how awesome it was to see Kings' big man Boogie Cousins lending his hand to mop the floor clean. Daniel Ochefu would be proud.
