Watch: Doug Pederson gives measured postgame victory speech

After watching Doug Pederson's postgame victory speech following the Eagles' week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns, it was hard to come up with a titillating blog post title about it.

But that's okay, because Doug Pederson isn't really a titillating guy, he pretty much always seems measured. And that's how he was in his brief speech yesterday.

Pederson gave the rookie quarterback his due props but also pointed it out none of it would have been possible without the offensive line protecting him. And the defense brought it to RGIII.

"It took every one of you to do it. That's what a team is all about," Pederson said.

Then Philadelphia owner Jeffrey Lurie hopped in to give the rookie coach some props on his first victory.

"Great people do great coaching jobs," Lurie said. "This is a great person and first coaching win for Coach Pederson. The first of many."

Let's hope.
