Before his final game as a Phillie, the team honored Ryan Howard with an emotional ceremony showcasing the Big Piece's storied career.

A career so illustrious that even the Mets — a team Howard has victimized for 48 home runs — had to cheer for him.

A teary-eyed Howard addressed the Phillies' fans for one final time Sunday, thanking the city and the team for their support throughout the years.

Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt, the only player in Phillies' history with more home runs than Howard. delivered a commemorative plaque to Howard, honoring his team-record 58 home runs in 2006, which earned Howard NL MVP honors.

Another identical plaque was placed in the left field seats where Howard's 58th home run landed.

In his first at-bat of the day, Howard received a standing ovation from the fans before striking out.

Howard's emotional speech can be seen above.
