Boston University loses bet to Temple University

It has been a bad, bad week and a half at Boston University, but at least they got to have a great meal at their dining hall.

On Jan. 28, Boston University’s Dining Hall laid down the gauntlet with this Twitter bet with Temple University.

They even backed it up with some smack talk a few days later.

…and again the morning of the game.

We all know who had the last laugh.

Yesterday was the day, cheesesteaks were served. They look pretty good, too.

In addition to having their favorite football team losing to the Eagles, also the nickname of rival school Boston College, Boston University lost in hockey to Northeastern University last night in the finals of the Beanpot Tournament, 5-2. Northeastern’s starting goalie is Cayden Primeau, Keith’s son and a recent seventh-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens.

We’ll take a wiz wit, hold the tears.
