Brian Baldinger: Eagles should put a bounty on Ezekiel Elliott

There is no place for bounties in today’s NFL. However, one of their employees is suggesting that the Eagles put one on Cowboys’ running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Pro Football Talk reported that NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger, a regular contributor on CSN, went on 97.5 The Fanatic and said that the Eagles should try to injure Elliott. The audio of Baldinger's comments that PFT links to has since been deleted.

“This is the guy that that we’ve got to hurt," Baldinger said via PFT. "This is the guy that we’ve got to take out of the game. There’s got to be 10 guys that want to hurt him every single play. In fact, we may even put a little bounty on Ezekiel Elliott.”

Later in the segment, Baldinger called Elliott “arrogant” for what he wore to the draft, and also said that he just bugs him.

Baldinger, a former Eagle and Cowboy, is clearly hoping the Eagles are annoyed with Elliott’s demeanor too.

“This is the guy you’ve got to take out. That’s the guy you’ve got to eliminate,” Baldinger said.

The Eagles' defense will face the rookie running back for the first time on Sunday Night Football.
