In our annual 32 picks in 32 days CSNPhilly.com mock draft, we select one player each day until the start of the NFL draft on April 26.

10. Bills: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame, 6-3220

Buffalo would be interested in a quarterback in this draft had they not signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a six-year, 59 million dollar extension after a hot start last season. The Harvard gunslinger fell back down to earth and the Bills fell out of contention. Now, many in Western New York are wondering how poor of a decision the Fitzpatrick extension will prove. For a team thats been searching for answers under center since the days of Jim Kelly, the questions will unfortunately continue.

The Bills broke out the check book again this offseason, shocking the NFL with the 100 million signing of Mario Williams. The former first-overall pick will drastically alter a defense that only could muster 29 sacks last season, a total bad enough to be the third-worst in the league. So with some big money help on defense and no offensive line help that makes sense still on the board, lets stretch the field with this pick.

Pairing Notre Dames Michael Floyd with thousand yard man Stevie Johnson would give Buffalo a nice tandem to open up things on offense. Johnson would potentially face fewer double teams, and David Nelson could slide in to a third receiver role that would allow all three to benefit as the Bills become more aggressive.

Of all the receivers to come out of South Bend, Floyd finished with the highest production. Among Floyds listings in the ND history books, he set records for career receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. At 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, Floyd has good NFL size and speed. He can run every route thats called for on Sundays. The Fighting Irish senior also embraces blocking to go with his big play ability. Adding Floyd to the mix, after the Williams signing, would give the Bills big time upgrades on both sides of the ball.
