With the NBA draft about a month away, the Sixers will take a look at a local product as part of their draft preparation.

Villanova guard Darrun Hilliard II will work out with the team next week, his father posted on VUHoops.com's Facebook page.

Hilliard also has workouts lined up with the Dallas Mavericks, Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns, according to VUHoops.com.

The 22-year-old averaged 14.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in his senior season at Villanova, and scored 501 points, the most he's scored in his four years there.

A Bethlehem, Pennsylvania native, Hilliard was named the Big 5 Player of the Year and finished his collegiate career with 1,511 points, 400 rebounds and 176 steals.
