A year after signing two-time NBA All-Star Baron Davis last March, the Delaware 87ers have added another big name guard to their roster.

The 87ers, the Sixers' D-League affiliate, on Wednesday acquired former NBA guard Nate Robinson.

Adam Johnson of D-League Digest first reported the move.

Robinson might be best known in Philadelphia as the man who robbed former Sixer Andre Iguodala in the 2006 Slam Dunk Contest.

Robinson, a three-time Slam Dunk Contest champion, averaged 11.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game in his 11-year NBA career.

The 32-year-old Robinson probably doesn't have the same bounce that he did 11 years ago, but the journeyman point guard is determined to make a comeback in the NBA.

Last year, Robinson signed a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum with the New Orleans Pelicans but was waived after appearing in just two games.

Prior to that, Robinson played for both the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers during the 2014-15 season.

He would probably be better suited for the Slam Dunk Contest to go for his fourth all-time title.
