LOS ANGELES -- The interim CEO of the Los Angeles Clippers testified Tuesday that coach Doc Rivers told him he will quit if Donald Sterling remains the owner of the team.


NEW YORK -- The NBA fined Clippers head coach Doc Rivers $25,000 on Thursday for publicly criticizing the officiating in Los Angeles' 105-104 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier this week.


OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State coach Mark Jackson has a suggestion for fans of both the Warriors and the Clippers: Don't show up for Game 5 in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.


The comments were ugly and inexcusable. But to hear people associated with the league tell it, the heinous remarks were not surprising. That is perhaps the most disquieting part of all this.
