SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Colorado Rockies have picked newcomer Kyle Kendrick to start the season opener in Milwaukee.
The Kyle Kendrick era officially ended in Philadelphia when the right-hander agreed Tuesday to a one-year deal with the Colorado Rockies.
Kyle Kendrick is no longer a Phillie.
Kendrick on Tuesday agreed to a one-year, $5.5 million deal with the Colorado Rockies, a league source told CSNPhilly.
The Phillies will spend significantly less money on their starting rotation in 2015, and it might be better.
Over the next few weeks, we will take a look at free agents and trade candidates who, given the organization's direction, could fit with the Phillies in 2015 and beyond.
