After one year in Philadelphia, Nick Young is no longer a Sixer.

The Lakers announced on Thursday that they have signed Young to a one-year deal worth the NBA's league minimum.

The entertaining Young, popularly known as "Swaggy P," played in 59 games last season with the Sixers and averaged 10.6 points per game in 23.9 minutes of action. Young shot 36 percent from three-point range and had a seven-game stretch from late March to early February in which he played well and averaged 16.9 points per game. His production then turned sporadic in the final two months of the season.

In mid-May, a woman filed a lawsuit against Young alleging that he drugged her before having non-consensual sex with her nearly two years ago, according to a report by CBS Los Angeles. However, according to TMZ, the police dismissed her claims shortly after the alleged incident.

The 28-year-old Young will be entering his eighth NBA season next year.
