Ryan Braun is the new Phillies killer and he may have mocked you last night, Philly fans

Philadelphia fans are not in any way shape or form fans of Brewers' slugger Ryan Braun. In fact, I might go so far as to say the fanbase really, really doesn't like the former MVP who later served time for performance enhancing drug use.

This was discussed after the home opener when Braun smashed three homers and gave Philly fans credit for being the loudest of booers. Yay?

Ryan Braun seems not to care. He will just go about destroying our baseball team as he has the past two evenings.

His damage on Wednesday night wasn't as consistent as it was on Tuesday, but his one big hit was pretty much the dagger the put the Phillies to bed on night two in South Philly. And then, once safely standing on third after the big triple, Braun made a gesture with both hands in the air directed towards ... maybe the crowd? maybe the Brewers' dugout. It did not please Citizens Bank Park's devotees.

You can catch a glimpse of it here (video) but not a great view. Much better version in this GIF. It raised suspicion enough to the point that T-Mac and Jamie Moyer talked about it on the telecast, wondering aloud the same thing everyone else was.

Following the game, Braun was asked about the post-play fun he was having. From CSN's Corey Seidman:

"No [it was directed] to our dugout, we always do that when we get big hits," Braun said with a smirk. "We've done that forever, we just haven't had an opportunity to play too many good games, close games, exciting games."

A smirk, huh?

Maybe so, maybe not. Just a friendly reminder that Braun does have a reputation for not always telling the truth.

Make it 9 RBI for Braun against the Phils in two games this season.

BRB, gonna go let the Phillie Phanatic bum rush me over and over.
