Shady McCoy also denies report Chip called him last week

The drama in the Chip Kelly and Shady McCoy feud got kicked up a notch on Sunday when the Inquirer posted Jeff McLane's story that had multiple sources telling him that Chip called LeSean earlier that week only to be hung up on.

We all knew Shady had strong feelings about Chip, but the star hanging up on his former coach was some strong imagery to add to the lore.

Chip denied it following the game (video above), saying he never called Shady last week while calling out the Inquirer.

LeSean also denied it on Wednesday.

According to the Buffalo News, "McCoy denied the report by the Philadelphia Inquirer that Kelly called him and he hung up on the coach. McCoy said he never received a call at all. Immediately after the game, Kelly also denied the report."

McCoy ran off the field following the loss to the Birds on Sunday, threw his helmet in disgust, and opted not to speak to reporters.

But he spoke in Buffalo yesterday and tried to treat Sunday as any other loss.

"Just upset. We didn't win the game," McCoy said. "The same as any game if you lose. Obviously, (ticked) off. In that game, we had some big errors with the penalties. Small things kind of got us. That was really it, pretty much angry about that."
