Texas A&M fans chant '76ers' at projected top pick Ben Simmons

When you're the projected No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft, it's darn near impossible to avoid getting tied to the Sixers in one way or another.

For Ben Simmons, it's impossible to avoid even in the friendly confines of Baton Rouge.

LSU and its astonishing Australian freshman hosted No. 15 Texas A&M on Saturday and the Aggies brought some hecklers along with their highly-ranked basketball team.

Early in the nationally-televised contest, A&M fans chanted "76ers" at Simmons during free throw attempts. In the middle of his two shots from the charity stripe, the freshman acknowledged those fans, pointing at them after a make in the video below.

He got the last laugh as well, coming up just three assists shy of a triple-double in the Tigers' 76-71 win over the Aggies.

However, before Sixers fans continue clamoring for the team to grab the 19-year-old, they may want to see him brush up on his defense.
