A day after getting on base four times and hitting a 418-foot homer to centerfield at AT&T Park, Ryan Howard is out of the Phillies’ lineup. Kevin Frandsen will bat second and start at first base in the Phils’ series finale vs. the Giants at 3:45 p.m.

It’s a logical off-day for Howard – it’s a day game after a night game and Howard is 1 for 10 with five strikeouts against lefty Barry Zito.

Frandsen, meanwhile, is 5 for 10 off lefties this season and went 26 for 65 (.400) against them last year.

Chase Utley slides down to the cleanup spot for the first time since Sept. 21, 2011 and the 35th time in his career. He’s hit .260 with seven doubles, seven homers and 23 RBIs batting fourth.

Delmon Young and John Mayberry are back in the lineup after getting the night off Tuesday. Domonic Brown is out of the lineup for the first time since April 19.

Here’s the full lineup:

1) Jimmy Rollins, SS
2) Kevin Frandsen, 1B
3) Michael Young, 3B
4) Chase Utley, 2B
5) Delmon Young, RF
6) Carlos Ruiz, C
7) John Mayberry, LF (4 for 6, three homers off Zito)
8) Ben Revere, CF
9) Jon Pettibone, P
