Ben Revere and Carlos Ruiz are out of the Phillies' lineup Thursday night against Brewers right-hander Matt Garza.
Odubel Herrera will lead off and play center field in Revere's absence. It's Herrera's second straight start after spending most of the last two weeks of June on the bench.
Cameron Rupp is behind the plate to catch Chad Billingsley in his first start back from the DL. Billingsley went on the shelf after his start on May 15 and missed about seven weeks with a right shoulder strain (see game notes).
The rest of the lineup is standard, with Maikel Franco, Ryan Howard and Domonic Brown filling out the heart of the order.
