The Eagles signed third-round pick Nick Foles to his four-year rookie contract Monday morning, leaving only first-round pick Fletcher Cox unsigned among the teams nine rookie draft picks.

Foles, the 88th pick in the draft, received a signing bonus of 543,520, according to the pre-determined rookie wage scale, a league source said.

Foles is the all-time leading quarterback in Arizona history with 10,011 yards, 67 touchdowns and 933 completions. Hes expected to compete with veteran Trent Edwards for the teams No. 3 quarterback job behind Michael Vick and likely backup Mike Kafka.

Foles was the seventh quarterback taken in this years draft, following first-round picks Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Ryan Tannehill and Brandon Weeden in the first round, Brock Owseiler in the second round and Russell Wilson earlier in the third round.

Foles is only the fifth quarterback the Eagles have drafted in the first three rounds in the last 40 years, following Randall Cunningham in the second round in 1985, Bobby Hoying in the third round in 1996, Donovan McNabb with the second pick in 1999 and Kevin Kolb with the 36th pick in 2007.
