VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Villanova University says athletic director Vince Nicastro has accepted a new position at the school and a search for a replacement is underway.
Nicastro is becoming the associate director of the Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law at the Villanova's law school. He'll continue in both roles until a successor is hired.
During Nicastro's 15 years as athletic director, the men's basketball program appeared in 10 NCAA Tournaments, made four Sweet 16 appearances and reached the Final Four once.
