With all the recent national anthem controversy going on across the major sports leagues, a local high school field hockey team had a special moment prior to a recent game.
As the national anthem was set to be sung, the sound system stopped working, and Interboro High School's Lady Bucs decided to sing it themselves.
The crowd loved it, and the Lady Bucs went on to win the Del Val championship Tuesday over Chichester.
